What part of quilting do you enjoy.

cutting fabric, designing, patchwork, applique, crazy quilts, machine piecing, machine quilting, embroidery

Tell us something about you.

Hello!  My name is Donna and I live in Fresno, California.  I am married, have identical twin daughters and 4 beautiful grandchildren.  We are also servants to 2 cats, who allow us to live in the house.

I started quilting in 1998 and was self-taught.  I remember using Quilt In A Day book and learned to piece and quilt from that.  I have been in love with quilting since then.  Most of my quilts are for charity and I donate mainly to the Marjoree Mason Center for abused women and also through our local quilt guild.

I own and manage 4 quilt groups on Facebook and have a blog on wordpress.com called Quietly Quilting Ministries.  I love cutting fabric and piecing but have recently started designing my own patterns and truly enjoy it.
